China/Africa: Institute of African Studies
The first comprehensive institute of African studies, offering programmes in politics, international relations, economy and education of African countries, was established in early September at the Zhejiang Normal University. An international seminar on China-Africa in the 21st Century, Strategies and Opportunities was organised on this occasion at the University.
