The 2014 application is now open, and they are limiting applications to young laureates, people ages 18-30 who are visionaries in solving some of the world’s complex problems. The prize is 50,000 Swiss Francs towards whatever project you are working on or new project you may be proposing to do. Applicants are asked to submit projects that tackle the world’s most pressing issues in five areas: science and health, applied technology, exploration and discovery, the environment, and cultural heritage.
