The Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia is advertising for the Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS), an initiative to attract and retain talented postgraduate or post-doctoral students from around the world though financial support for their studies in priority areas such as: Science and Engineering, Agriculture and Fisheries, Economics and Islamic Finance, Information and Communication Technology, Biotechnology, Biosecurity and Food Safety, Infrastructure and Utility, Environmental Studies, Health Sciences. Online applications started in April 2011.
