US aerospace giant Boeing is introducing the Boeing Internship for Africa Programme to selected universities on the continent, including those in South Africa.
The company will select a number of outstanding university students to take part in a 12-week summer internship at its Seattle offices and facilities, in the US, working in positions ranging from engineering, finance, project management and other positions relating to its core competences. This was revealed by Boeing international sales director Miguel Santos at the Aviation and Business Forum, held at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), earlier this month. The event was sponsored by Boeing and the National Aerospace Centre of Excellence.
