Conference: ICTs for Education
ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies) for Education will take place at Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Headquarters in Paris, France, on September 11. It is part of the joint workshop on "Policy Coherence in Information and Communication Technologies for Development" organized by the OECD and the Information for Development Program at the Bank. The greater use of technology, especially information and communication technologies (ICTs) in schools can accelerate the Millennium Development Goals of universal primary education and elimination of gender inequality, and help prepare students to participate in the information society.
